Her Face

Ahhhh, just look at her face
One can’t know by glance – her race
Black, White, and Indian is her base
Yet character, charm, and love
Will define her place

The sun and heaven gives her such grace
Her song and dance will be an uneven pace
Her tomorrows and days sweetly rolls
I see my mom in her – as her world unfolds

Who cares?

at the end of the -final dance

i’m throwing my - time away
they say i could do - much better

and famous like - we planned
